OOB Concept
OOB was founded in 2014 in Tripoli, Lebanon, as a production house focused on visual storytelling. Our work is driven by curiosity, a belief in meaningful creative expression, and a commitment to sustainable filmmaking that works seamlessly within existing natural conditions, landscapes, and situational film settings.
We specialize in visual storytelling and film production, bringing together a talented team of experienced creatives and technicians under one umbrella. We offer turnkey solutions covering all stages of production, from concept development to post-production.
Each project is treated as unique, with particular attention to detail, originality, and strong foundational processes. We work closely with our partners to translate their ideas and faithfully reflect their voice and identity.
Over the years, we have collaborated with nationally and internationally recognized entities, building long-term relationships grounded in trust and shared commitment. At the heart of our work is a desire to create meaningful impact, both locally and globally.
Sustainable Filmmaking
At OOB, sustainable filmmaking is the practice of working with “what is” naturally and situationally.
By relying primarily on natural light, we reduce the unnecessary energy use and labor costs associated with heavy artificial lighting setups, so that the environment remains an active participant in the filmmaking process rather than a backdrop to it.
Sustainability also extends to how we plan and move. By carefully considering the topological distribution of the creative and technical bodies involved in a shoot—in other words, how people, equipment, space, and subject interact—we design productions that flow with the location instead of disrupting it.
This intentional relationship between people and place reintroduces a sense of ease into the production process. That ease—between crew, space, and subject—inevitably finds its way into the final image, shaping work that feels compelling, coherent, and alive.
